  7. This updater will update your copy of Macintosh VETTE! to version 1.02.  Please follow the instructions below:
  8.  
  9. 1) Be sure you have the right update file for your copy of VETTE!  There are four different update files for black-and-white version 1.0, color version 1.01, black-and-white version 1.01, or color version 1.01.

  11. 2) Double-click the appropriate VETTE! update file (VETTE! 1.0->1.02 Updater, Color VETTE! 1.0->1.02 Updater, VETTE! 1.01->1.02 Updater, or Color VETTE! 1.01->1.02 Updater).

  13. 3) Press the "Patch" button.
  14.  
  15. 4) Select the drive and folder where VETTE! is installed.
  16.  
  17. 5) Click on the VETTE! file name to select it for updating.
  18.  
  19. 6) Press the "Open" button to start the VETTE! update.
  20.  
  21. 7) as the updater is working, the cursor will spin.
  22.  
  23. 8) If VETTE! is successfully updated to version 1.02, a message will be displayed onscreen.

  25. VETTE! version 1.02 uses a new copy protection method.  You will only have to answer the VETTE! trivia question the first time you load the game unless you move the program files to a different machine or load the game from a different disk.
